Dayspring Farm Quilt Retreats
Dayspring Farm has accommodation and a large sewing room perfect for quilters' retreats. If nature inspires you, you've found the right place! The tranquil surroundings with views of the back garden will encourage you to indulge yourself in your creative endeavours. Your hostess, Mavis Reynolds, has been a quilter for approximately 12 years and her quilts are lovingly displayed throughout the house.
All your creature comforts are provided for and included in the price: comfy beds, generous meals including hot breakfasts, snacks, lunch and dinner. Let us know of any dietary restrictions and we'll cater to your special needs while providing you with wonderful home cooked meals... and in the summer barbeques on request! During summer months, enjoy your meals on our back deck or in the dining room, a hot tub in the evenings... or sew into the wee hours! The choice is yours. This is your time to enjoy!
While we don't offer classes (at present), quilters' retreats are a perfect time of bonding with other quilters while finishing off UFOs (unfinished objects) or starting new projects. Weekend Mystery Quilt challenges are available on request.
Two night quilt retreats Friday to Sunday: Check-in -- Firday at 3:00 p.m. Check-out is Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Final coffee break with goodies available at 11:00. Feel free to sew until departure.
Provided in Sewing Room: Tables, 2 Irons, 2 Ironing Boards, Great lighting, 2 Cutting mats, CD player, design wall (under construction).... gorgeous view!!
Please bring: Your own sewing machine and supplies.
Queen Pricing: $240.00 per person for 2 nights
QueenGarden Suite (deluxe) – sleeps maximum of 5 (1 queen (shared), 1 twin and 1 double hide-a-bed); private ensuite bathroom; Large screen TV, Computer workstation with hi-speed Internet access and WIFI access, Coffee/Tea in room.
King Pricing: $325.00 per person for 2 nights
Deluxe King Suite – sleeps maximum of 4 (1 king (shared) and 1 double hideabed (shared)); private ensuite bathroom; fireplace, flat screen HDTV/Blu-Ray, WIFI access, Coffee/Tea in room.
Maximum registration for quilt retreat is seven (7).
Minimum registration for quilt retreat is two (2).
